The Côtes-du-Rhône “Pic & Chapoutier” has an extraordinary richness and complexity because of the diversity of the different soils which grapes are coming from (Drôme, Gard, Vaucluse, Ardèche).

Harvest

Harvesting is performed when grapes reach a good maturity.

Vinification

The grapes are entirely destemmed. Vatting lasts around 2 weeks that provides a good tannic structure to the wine, allows its ageing and guarantees a good stability.

Maturing

The wine is aged in vats. Pumping over allows the wine to be clarified.

Tasting

Color: crimson-red.

Nose: aromas of red fruits (mainly morello cherries) and spices (liquorice, grey pepper).

Palate: tannins are firm and silky and the wine has a great structure.
