The vineyard is planted on granitic soils slightly acidic on the whole appellation.
The maturity evolution is regularly checked from the veraison. Grapes are hand-harvested.
The vinification is done in concrete tanks with daily pumping over.
Vatting lasts around one month.
The wine is mainly aged in concrete tanks but with also a percentage of casks.
Color: intense garnet-red.
Nose: aromas of violet which, with ageing, will develop into liquorice and spices.
Palate: red fruits aromas with a supple attack.
The final is long and spicy.
